Spring Break started with a visit from Scott's mom and Aunt Nancy. Grammy comes twice a year but this was the first time visiting for Aunt Nancy. We LOVED having her here. The kids adore her as do we. She spent several days with her sister-n-law as well which is where she won $2,000.00 playing penny slot machines! Thanks for visiting us Grammy and A. Nancy!!!
Beau decided to end Spring Break with a big bang by being hospitalized again. He had started to cough a little the day before Grammy left and in two days he could not stop coughing. I took him to the pediatrician and his oxygen level was only 89% after 4 breathing treatments. So we were admitted to Cardon's Children Hospital which is Banner Desert's new children's hospital. They drug their feet the first night and really didn't do too much with him so we ended up in the ICU the next day. Finally things started to get done...high dose IV steroids, high-flow oxygen, and IV antibiotics in case it was pneumonia. They really turned him around that second night and was feeling better that next morning. The doctors really think it was just reactive airways (asthma) and probably not pneumonia. Scary not knowing what caused it although he was playing outside a lot and probably just some allergens outside.

Poor thing! I'm sorry Beau was so sick, there is nothing worse!
But that picture of him in the slide is the most adorable thing I've ever seen!!!
Oh my gosh...you must frame that pic of Beau in the play thing!! Too die for! I'm so sad our babies are growing up...Ronan will be 2 in a couple weeks!!
So glad Beau is doing better! You really had us worried over here. Looks like you all had a great Easter. Those pics of the kids playing outside really make me want to be there!

It's never a good time to have a child be in the hospial. Sorry you had to go through that. (Bragging moment: my husband helped design the Cardon Children's Hospital. It's better to just "tour" the hospital rather than to be a patient.)
