Rickety

I looked up the word "sick" on thesaurus.com and found the synonyms amusing: ailing, bedridden, broken down, confined, debilitated, declining, defective, delicate, diseased, disordered, down, feeble, feverish, frail, funny, green, hospitalized, ill, impaired, imperfect, in a bad way, in poor health, incurable, indisposed, infected, infirm, invalid, laid-up, lousy, mean, nauseated, not so hot, peaked, poorly, qualmish, queasy, rickety, rocky, rotten, run down, sick as a dog, suffering, tottering, under medication, under the weather, unhealthy, unwell, weak, wobbly.

We recently had to cancel our much anticipated trip to Disneyland due to another bout of sickness in the Krassow children. What is with our kids? Sheesh! Scott and I are healthy people...it's not like we smoke cigarettes in the car with the windows rolled up...the kids don't chew the grocery cart handles...true I work in the ER but I don't come home dripping in snot and boogers. What gives?

So Beau has been the latest casualty of the horribly defective Krassow immune system disorder. In fact he almost had to go into the hospital again for his breathing, but with the insane medication regime he is on he turned the corner and is doing better. Infected? Yes. Invalid? No. Indisposed? At times, but not because he was sick, he just likes to run around naked. Rickety? Really? Who says they're feeling rickety when they're sick? That's just funny.
